This guidance document was developed by ICF International and the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation and was sponsored by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration. This handbook contains the key steps for 8 different BMPs for improving roadside habitat quality for pollinators. It also contains a list of pollinator and vegetation resources and a list of pollinator-friendly plants.
