This report was developed by an interdisciplinary panel coordinated by the NOAA Coastal Ocean Office, National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, Department of Commerce, and Department of the Interior. The report details the science behind and impacts of harmful marine algal blooms. The report also notes management options for mitigating the environmental, economic, and human health impacts of these blooms.
