This study aimed to determine the relative contribution of suspended sediments from different sources in an urbanized watershed in Alabama (U.S.). The results indicate that areas with high surface runoff contribute a disproportionately high amount of sediment to streams. It also indicates that stream bed sediments and suspended sediments may have different sources.
