This paper describes a selection of integrated models that were developed as a result of the six-year Ecological Effects of Sea Level Rise: Northern Gulf of Mexico project. This project developed interdisciplinary, integrated modeling platforms to evaluate climate change scenarios. The models assessed in this paper analyze a variety of ecosystem health indicators– including shoreline morphology, wetland vulnerability, storm surge incidence and severity, and oyster ecology–all of which ultimately aim to evaluate the resilience of of coastal ecosystems to sea level rise.
