This study used the RZ-TRADEOFF model to estimate nutrient retention, water table depth, and greenhouse gas emissions of 80 riparian zones throughout the midwest, northest, and mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. The study aims to increase understanding of how the protection and restoration of riparian areas can improve water and air quality.
