This study evaluated the effects of riparian buffer strip width on pesticide concentrations in streams in a vineyard-dominated region of southwestern Germany. The authors also present potential methods for mitigating the effects of pesticides, including implementing grass field paths, vegetated ditches, and/or wetlands in addition to riparian buffer strips.
