This guidance document was developed by a climate change vulnerability assessment workgroup convened by the National Wildlife Federation and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. This guidebook is intended to help wildlife managers and conservation professionals develop, implement, and interpret the results of climate change vulnerability assessments. These assessments are key to planning for adaptation, and is comprised of three main components: sensitivity, exposure, and adaptive capacity. The guide also includes seven case studies that illustrate the implementation and effectiveness of these assessments.
