Pavement sealcoat products have high concentrations of unsubstituted polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). This study determined the concentrations of 23 unsubstituted PAHs in coal tar- and asphalt-based sealcoat products and tested the level of adverse effects of various types of PAH toxicity on zebrafish development.
