In this study, three experimental wetlands in Wisconsin were observed in order to investigate the potential connections between six wetland services. Flow attenuation, stormwater retention, net primary productivity, diversity support, erosion resistance, and water quality improvement were evaluated by measuring peak flow reduction, outflow volume reduction, plant biomass, plant species richness, surface soil stability, and nutrient/sediment removal, respectively.
