Prepared in coordination with the U.S. EPA Office of Research and Development and Region 1, this report describes an assessment of nitrogen attenuation at the Eel River subterranean estuary (MA, USA). The report includes: hydrogeologic and geochemical observations, a discussion of nitrogen fate and transport, and a conceptual model of nitrogen attenuation at the estuary.
