This paper synthesizes the state of the science on fish-habitat relationships, specifically with the aims of: 1) documenting the relationship between habitat quality/availability and salmon production, 2) quantifying the increases in salmon production in response to restoration actions, and 3) using models to identify habitat characteristics that negatively affect salmon production.
