This study quantified the nutrient and sediment concentrations in runoff from conventional and no-till corn fields at the University of Maryland’s Forage Research Farm. The results showed that conventional fields produced over 9 times more runoff than the no-till field, and there were large differences in suspended sediment and nitrogen species as well.
