This manual describes the Generalized Watershed Loading Functions model, which estimates dissolved and total nitrogen and phosphorus loads in streamflow from complex watersheds, including surface runoff and groundwater sources. The model also provides streamflow, soil erosion, and sediment yield estimates. The model does not require water quality data for calibration, as it has been validated for an 85,000-hectare watershed in New York state (U.S.). This manual describes the software package used to implement the model. It also includes a description of the program structure, input and output file options, and example case studies.
