This manual was prepared by the Center for Watershed Protection, Inc. for Talbot County’s Department of Public Works. It provides guidance on roadside ditch management practices that can be implemented in rural eastern shore communities. The practices presented in this manual were based on their capacity to improve water quality, maintain road safety, and minimize additional costs associated with existing ditch modification.
