As a result of the expansion of the green sector, the number of jobs created (and projected to be created) from the operations and maintenance (O&M) requirements of green infrastructure are increasing. This report discusses the ability of water utilities investing in green infrastructure to outsource entry-level work to workforce development programs that train individuals in the specific O&M concerns of the industry.
