An assessment of seedling survivorship and growth of various riparian forest species was completed near Chester River, MD. Results after four growing seasons show no significant differences in survivorship and growth between bare-root and containerized seedlings when averaged across species and treatments but higher growth and survivorship was observed for other factors such as sheltered vs unsheltered, weed control etc.
