This study quantified conductivity and solute fluxes related to chloride-based road salt usage in drainage waters of the Mohawk River Basin (New York, U.S.). The study assessed nearly 50 years of monitoring data, and water chemistry was evaluated using various stastical, modeling, and graphical methods.
