This study used a panel of experts to develop and evaluate a scenario-building process that can be used to assess the possible future impacts of invasive species on recreational fishing activities in the Laurentian Great Lakes (U.S.). The study developed scenarios for five aquatic invasive species, each of which is described and evaluated for likeliness. The process can be useful for policy decision-makers and for those who conduct research within the Great Lakes system.
