This study conducted a vulnerability assessment for over 80 fish and invertebrate species in the continental shelf of the northeast U.S. to evaluate the impact of climate change on these marine and estuarine species. The results indicate that approximately half of the assessed species will experience negative consequences of climate change, but some of the species will experience positive consequences like increased productivity.
