This study used a hydrodynamic-marsh model (Hydro-MEM) to assess two estuaries (marine-dominated Grand Bay, MS; mixed fluvial/marine Weeks Bay, AL) under four sea-level rise scenarios. The model projected and mapped the dynamic responses of the assessed marsh systems, and the study evaluated the relationships between various marsh characteristics and the marsh’s response to sea level rise.
