This study evaluated the efficiency of a bioretention cell in Silver Spring, Maryland (U.S.). Th curve number and flow regime of the bioretention cell were monitored for two years. The results indicate that although the bioretention cell performs similarly to predevelopment land uses in terms of runoff volume, it may not match the predevelopment hydrologic regime as a whole.
