BMP, Efficiency, Model, nutrients, sediment
The Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) model was calibrated and validated for streamflow, sediment, and nutrient yields for two watersheds in the Maumee River Basin, Indiana. Sediment and nutrient outputs from the model were compared at various spatial scales, both with and without implementation of BMPs. Results indicate sediment and nutrient yields were sensitive scale.
