This study proposes a new analytical model for water infiltration into dual-permeability soils. The proposed model was used to evaluate the effects of various hydraulic conditions onĀ  total infiltration; the results indicate that this model could serve as an effective tool for modeling and characterizing prefertial flow in the vadose zone.
