This study monitored a reach of the Upper Arkansas River (Colorado, U.S.) that was restored to improve habitat for brown trout (Salmo trutta) populations. Two-dimensional hydrodynamic modelling was used to estimate habitat area and suitability for brown trout at various life stages.
