Prepared in collaboration with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), this report documents and characterizes high-water marks (HWMs) from Hurricane Sandy (October 2012) in the coastal regions of CT, RI, and MA. The aim of this report is to more fully understand the areal extent and impact of the tides that occur as a result of strong storms like Hurricane Sandy.
