This guidebook aims to provide communities with a better understanding of the diverse benefits of wooded areas. It also aims to aid decision makers in conserving the ecological integrity of wooded areas, including core wildlife habitat and corridors. Further, this guidebook aims to help those involved in development minimize the impacts of construction on these areas.
