This paper details the current disconnect between agricultural landscapes and river networks when it comes to watershed management. It presents a framework for the interdisciplinary study and management of these landscapes with an emphasis on cohesiveness and an ”ecosystems approach.” It also presents a variety of BMP placement strategies.
