IDDE, nutrients, pollutant, sediment
In the summer and fall, 2011, the Center for Watershed Protection worked with Blue Water Baltimore and neighborhood leaders to identify sources of pollution within the Harris Creek Watershed. The primary goal of this project is to reduce trash, nutrients, sediments, metals and bacteria that impair the Baltimore Harbor by detecting and eliminating sources of pollution. The Center also worked with the Baltimore City Department of Public Works to systematically detect and eliminate nonstormwater or illicit discharges within the storm drain network.
